A New Look For The 2012 Ford Focus
The Focus has been improved on the exterior and the inteior for 2012. As a result it’s sportier, aggressive and packed with a lot more features. The Focus’ looks have been improved significantly; the new model is much hipper and sportier than the older models. Durable steel makes up half of the vehicle's body; that's more than on any other Ford vehicle. The Ford competes in the affordable small car market with contenders like the Chevrolet Cruz and the Honda Fit. Shoppers can select from four trim levels; S, SE, SEL and Titanium.
The new 2012 Focus will be equipped with a 2.4 Liter V4 with 155 hp and 145 lb feet of torque. The auto manufacturer has plans for a future Focus with an efficient EcoBoost engine. Buyers have the option of choosing from two transmissions; a manual transmission and a dual clutch gearbox. One new feature for the 2012 Focus is standard torque vectoring control, a first for a vehicle in its class. This system works to split power between wheels and applies brake pressure as required, resulting in increased control and performance around corners. The interior has also received a complete redesign and offes more amenities than ever before. The Titanium model adds in a sunroof, a premium Sony sound system and Ford MyTouch which allows the drover to use the phone and command the audio system via voice commands.
