deep well pump?
My house uses a deep well pump for water and it is located in my basement. Everytime I lose power for a few hours the pump loses pressure and when it the power comes back on the pump just buzzes.I have to prime the pump several times to get the pressure up again.My question is if I away for a few days and I lose power will that burn out my pump if its just buzzing and has no water flowing thru it?
Answer:
It sounds like you need to replace the foot valve in your well. Thats why you're losing pressure.
