Megamind Gives Villains The Dreamworks Remedy
Dreamworks has made large business of film stereotypes. Typically, they take the primary idea of a stereotype and turn it on its head. Supervillians are (somewhat) human, too, according to the new movie "Megamind". You will find big movie stars in Megamind. Though reviews say the movie is mixed or mediocre, those stars might be enough to carry it through.
'Megamind' consists of large superstars in it
The movie "Megamind" has the star power that is nearly guaranteed to bring in audiences. Will Ferrell, Tina Fey and Brad Pitt all provide the voices for major characters -- and even Ben Stiller makes a vocal appearance. Ben Stiller's production company, Red Hour Films, had a major hand in bringing "Megamind" to life, beginning about 2 years back.
The 'Megamind' tale
The basic idea behind "Megamind" is comparable to numerous other Dreamworks films - turn the stereotypical account on its head. ”Megamind” is a Superman/superhero story. It is pretty basic. The supervillain finally kills his nemesis. This leads him to the midlife crisis. Should he continue his villainous ways, or should he change his ways and do something to help Metro City?
The worth of 'Megamind'
The reviews for "Megamind" are decidedly mixed. In Russia and Ukraine about $9.5 million in sales has already been made by sales. Many say “Megamind” is mediocre although you will find great moments in it. There is really great voice acting. This makes the tale and script not look really good. Some film fanatics are pondering whether rapidly growing Dreamworks is expanding too easily, which is resulting in scripts that may not be as strong as the company's previous films. Numerous others think that Dreamworks is simply trying to create enough characters to increase on within the future with other movies. So have you seen "Megamind"? Is it good?
