I have two gas tractors one is a John Deere 4020 and the other is a John Deere M which has a carburetor. I was wondering if it is possible to be able to turbo charge them to get more horse power and the whistle sound.
Answer:
No.
Carburetors need vacuum to work. You would either need to fuel inject it or find someway to make sure the pressure in the carb is greater than the pressure in the throttle body, otherwise it will just blow fuel back into it.
They do make fake turbo whistles that fit over exhaust pipes if you are looking for show instead of go.
